Exceptions may arise if we need to contact past guests regarding lost mail or personal items.

For reservations, we send guests a confirmation email using the following information provided by the user:

First and last name

Telephone or mobile number – for emergencies

Gender

Nationality

Date of birth

Identification details (e.g., National ID, NIE, passport number, etc.)

Credit or debit card details, including cardholder name, card type, 16-digit card number, expiration date, and the three-digit security code on the back of the card

Arrival and departure dates

We use a third-party service provider to handle credit card processing. This service provider is not authorized to store, retain, or use the information you provide, except for the sole purpose of processing credit card transactions on our behalf. Your credit/debit card details are used solely to secure your reservation; CADENAS MOTA S.L. (hereinafter, HOSPEDAJES EL RAYO, S.L.) will only charge your account if you fail to follow the cancellation procedure established for the specific type of reservation you have booked. The user is responsible for the accuracy of the data provided and for submitting the personal data of third parties (travel companions). The user must notify the Company of any changes to or cancellations of such data to ensure it remains up to date.

All fields on the form marked with an asterisk are mandatory and must be completed for the registration to be accepted.

When the data collection and processing activities require user consent to the privacy policy, such consent will be requested at the time of collection.

The Company only plans to transfer data regarding users’ personal data as mandated by law. Such information is used, disclosed, and protected by them in accordance with their own privacy policies and is not subject to this privacy policy. If you are a client of one of our Associated Agents and wish to be removed from their database regarding your use of our hostel, you must contact the Associated Agent directly to make the relevant requests.

We publish customer comments and reviews on our website, which may contain personal information. This information is also obtained via data available on the Internet that we acquire from service providers such as TripAdvisor, Booking.com, Expedia, and Google, among others.
